Call for papers (Volume I Issue II)

Journal of Finance, Management, and Development (JFMD) is happy to announce this call for
Paper (Volume I Issue II). The JFMD is a biannual peer-reviewed publication of Ethiopian Civil Service University and its main mission is to provide a platform for publishing scholarly manuscripts or research works including: Research articles, review articles, book reviews, systematic reviews, case study, and meta-analysis. The Journal is aimed at providing an appropriate platform to stimulate publication in the areas of Finance, Management, Economics, and Development. But academic research articles and other publishable works from related disciplines and cross-sectional issues are also welcome. During submission the corresponding author and co-authors should include their full contact address. Selected manuscript will be published in Volume I Issue II in April 2026

 

Format and Style Guide to authors

  • All manuscripts are submitted and published in English. Authors are required to provide a soft copy in Microsoft Word and PDF format of their manuscript to be sent by e-mail to –jfmd2017@ecsu.edu.et
  • The research articles submitted should have an abstract and be divided into the following five sections: Introduction, Related Literature, Methods and Materials, Results and Discussion, as well as Conclusions and Policy Implications or recommendations (if any).
  • Texts should be typed in English with 12 fonts, Times New Roman, single space, 1 inch margin on both sides, normal and all tables and figures as well as pages should be numbered sequentially.
  • The preferred length for a research article is between 7,000 - 10,000 words, and 2,000 - 5,000 words for Review articles and book reviews.
  • A research article must be accompanied by an abstract not exceeding 300 words. There should be 3 to 5 keywords at the end of the abstract. The title should also appear in the same page above the abstract. The author’s name and address should appear on the same page including e-mail address, and organizational/ institutional affiliation.
  • American Psychological Association (APA) guideline should be consistently used for in- text citation and Referencing
