Jemila Hussen studied management and specialized in public and development management. In particular, she is interested in the areas of leadership and human resource management, service delivery and e-government, sustainable development and corruption. She has conducted various studies in the area of human resource management, gender, and corruption and published some works in different known journals. In addition, she has experience in coordinating research and publication activities and is currently serving as a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Finance, Management, and Development (JFMD).
